1st round NT I'm up agains #22 Princeton, 24-5, FB/press. So someones using it!
That's me!

I think it works fairly well.  There are some +/-'s though.

If you only recruit ATH/SPD (esp in bigs) you can get some recruits that others don't want.   I'll take the 50/50/50 ATH/SPD/REB every year for my 4 or 5 spot.   Other guys over look him because his REB is low.

You get big time stats.   I am normally in the top 5 for team scoring and have individual leaders in Steals and Points per game.

Because of the high stats you get national awards.  I have 2 1st team All Americans and a DPOY in  6 seasons.

You get murdered on the boards.   I have a hard time competing with the big boys.   My ATH/SPD is usually comparable to the top 20 level teams but my REB is always suspect.

You more or less have to play 12 guys.   I have yet to redshirt someone.  You can't take 2 walkons.  I have taken one but it hurt.

If you don't force turnovers, you lose (against good teams).  I really struggle against teams with good G's.  Unless I win the TO margin by like 6, I can't score enough to win.

Well said, Trentonjoe.  Especially about playing 12 guys and forcing turnovers.  Good NT teams can murder you, especially if you don't get to the FT line.

I was far more successful in DII and DIII using FB/FCP but that might be because of the talent disparity.    Most people look at my Princeton teams and think they are a DII program.
