Maybe get one extra DiTR if any player you voted for actually gets inducted, which means that if you actually take a couple minutes and vote for the most worthy of players and the guy gets inducted, then you'll have 2 DiTRs.  So voting for the first player without a thought gets you something... but taking an extra couple minutes gets you twice as much.
"Hey everybody . . . free DITR's if we all vote for Jimmy Numbnuts, Tommy Gopherball, Billy Popout, Fred Ballfour and Luigi Twinkletoes for the HOF".

No, that wouldn't work either.

The suggestion should be written off as "bad idea" and move on.
