I typically only search to 28 WE. This season at Alabama in Tark I dipped down to a 15 WE guy, but only after I got my primary stud, my R/S approved 5 yr C project and dumped about $44k into a steal attempt only to not even show considering. So, I tucked my tail between my legs and used a tiny bit of what was left to sign this kid. But, my kid only has 4 highs, only 1 HH. His per, bh and pas are like 73 and low. He'll be a 4 yr backup, but a solid bench guy, and no real risk. I only have 1 opening next season, so i guess i could've just taken a walk-on and gone into next season recruiting with 30k plus whatever we earn and taken a shot at another stud, and maybe my not doing so is one of the reasons I've only won 3 NT games in 14 seasons at Bama...who knows?
