Rebounding... wha? Topic

His -3 combined with you having more misses results in a rebounding advantage.  Would it happen 5 times out of 10?  Doubtful.  But it doesn't scream oddness to me.

Also, as others have stated, his bench is way better.

Don't use irrelevant stuff to try to prove your weak point

But the averages I posted aren't OVR, they're ATH, SPD, and REB.  You're saying WE, ST, DUR, and walkons are causing me to be wrong... but I didn't post WE, ST, or DUR, and there were no walkons!

Yes, I have a weak point, but it's because of the +/-, maybe what reinsel said about variance, and of course because of the randomness, as everyone pointed out.  But not at all because of what you've said.

in addition to the +/-, you have to take into consideration that iq plays a role in reb. 5 out of your 6 top rebounders are underclassmen and 3 of them are boasting C+ or less iq's in your off/def sets. imho, your team should have been the superior rebounding team statistically, but stats, irl or ihd, do not translate linearally. as a result, you can have a lesser team do better statistically.

didn't know IQ helped RB... good to know.

Red - it helps EVERYTHING.  But REB is some combination of ATH/SPD/DEF/STAM/IQ/IQ/luck and maybe BLK.

Thanks, jtt, yeah.

I thought we were over complaining or being confused about 1 game occurences. You aren't going to dominate the boards every single time, abberations happen, and when the game is simmed once that abberation can happen the 1st time.
