Not saying he's not a good player, he will be a nice scorer. But you're talking about a guy who looks like he'll be at best 50 ath/70 spd. In a man def, if he's not 50 def, which won't happen until at least his senior season, he's going to have serious trouble against the elite guards in D3. Again, not saying he's not very good, but good scoring guards won't have a problem shooting 50% or higher against him.
I agree, but it's his first season at a C- rebuild. I'm sure he's not too worried about competing with the "elite" guards yet. This player will do just fine for him
