He's never played a single season of HBD. That, in itself, is a fantastic reason not to spend $15M each on 4 different players.

I'm advocating that there's more than one way to play the game.   Definitive statements like "there is probably no reason to spend more than 85m" aren't correct.   Neither of us know what his plans are.   I certainly didn't scout his world for FA.  

Personally, I'd advocate a new owner play a season without signing big FA or making big trades.   But that doesn't seem to be in his plans.

I've waited a month to start a season... the thing to do is get involved in your league more, aka actively recruiting through the forums

I've waited long enough, I'm moving to another world if I can find one that will let me join and start another topic on a newbie rebuild.
