I'm at my AM Loyola of Chicago, and I took it off the mat to an NT berth in 4 seasons, so I'm pretty happy. I started at Concordia (IL) because I'm a HS Hist teacher and girls' BBall coach and one of my players went there. I'd love DIII North Park since it's in my neighborhood. I'm a big Civil War buff so VMI, home of Stonewall Jackson would be cool (coached there in GD. Also coached DIII Bowdoin in GD, school of Col. Joshua Chamberlain). Coached Illinois in GD 'cause my sister and brother went there. My uncle taught at UGA and I've always loved the Bulldogs. This is an interesting thread.

I coach at NC State here, but I went to UNC, just waiting impatiently for it to open up (and hope it's after I've had a good season or 2)... I could never coach at duke unless I had decided to quit HD, and spent my last few seasons there destroying the program beyond repair.

I've got one of my dream jobs at Northern Iowa.  I was born there and my dad worked in their Athletic department.  I had a job at my alma mater, Northern Colorado, but I really don't like that school so I left.  Colorado is my real dream school but it is locked up in my worlds.  My wife wants me to take over Loyola Marymount as she played on the team there on the womens side.

I live in Maryland and that is my dream job. I've coached at DII Barton and that's where my wife went. DI UMES is about 25 miles from my house and I've coached there. Maryland will probably never open for me or I'll never be good enough to get it.

I attended Minnesota Duluth so I guess that would be my dream job but that conference is always so bad in every world that I can't bring myself to pick them up

I am Canadian, so no real dream jobs like you guys have. However, my roommate played a season of lacrosse at Pfeffier in North Carolina (D2) which I wouldn't mine coaching, then either Washington State (father's alma mater) or Gonzaga (my favourite team, hometown was a few hours north of Spokane, WA in Canada).

D3 (alma mater): Lawrence University
D1 (local school, crazy amounts of family connections, target for RL grad school): Northwestern.

My goal is to win an NC at each.  Another thing that I've noticed is that my HD interests have driven my RL interests a bit.  I liked Keiton Page and the job was open, so I took Oklahoma State in Allen despite not particularly caring that much about the school in real life.  Now I naturally find myself pulling against the Sooners every year (in football, too) and OSU's probably my favorite B12 school.  Similarly, I root for Vermont in the A-East CT every year.

Born and raised in Indiana, so I am a Hoosier for life.  Currently coaching Kentucky though, so I'm sure that wouldn't sit well with some.  However, IU is being coached by a person who had them as their dream job, so all is well.  I would never coach Purdue, but have coached Indiana State, Butler, and IUPUI in other worlds.

Before I was at Kentucky, I took over Hawaii for 10 seasons and had a really good run there.  So, I found myself checking on Hawaii in RL the past couple of seasons.

My other would be Arizona.  I've been a fan of their team since I was about 10.

D2, I had a fondness for Green Mountain, Pittsburg State, and BYU, Hawaii.  Why? I have no clue, but always find myself checking in on those teams.

There's a dream job out there for me...I'll announce it when I get it lol, and consequently will divulge the details at that time as well.

I hope to some day get the Arkansas job in Crum.  I'm at Mississippi St. in season 2 now.  I will probably qualify for the Arkansas job in Iba soon, but I don't plan on ever leaving St. Mary's TX there.  I love the Heartland conference in D2.  The schools are spread out enough that you don't have to compete for recruits with more than 2 or 3 other conference mates and there are a lot of natural rival conferences nearby.  We've got a great group of coaches in the D2 Heartland in Iba too, which makes it a great place to coach in HD.

In Smith I have Loyola Maramount......was a big fan of Hank Gathers and the run & gun style of Paul Westhead.

UT Chattanooga, its home and my alma mater..... but the ultimate would Kentucky.

In Wooden, I have Harvard and in the process of switching it to FB/FCP......I find the the thought of Ivy Leaguers running & gunning interesting.

A shameless plug for one of the best conferences out there!

That's funny Wronoj.  I've got my dream job at Duke in Tark (have been a fan for 26 years) and could NEVER see myself coaching UNC, even in a game like this.  Ironically, even though I'm a huge Duke fan, I was accepted at Chapel Hill myself.  Circumstances arose that kind of forced me to attend a different school (Indiana State, alma mater of some guy named Bird or something like that.  He's probably the second most famous person to attend that school, right behind yours truly, ha ha), but like you (only with opposite schools obviously), the only reason I would take a job at UNC would be to destroy the program right before I quit HD.  Screw the $h!t Heels!

can the two of you do that in tark please? It might really help my Bama team
