i understand getting a turnover at the end of a game but to throw the ball out of bounds come on  thats rare i have not seen that in a ncaa tournament game in years and i watch almost every game i would not be mad if this thing happend once as a freak thing but this has happend to me so many times in HD
Are you even serious? It happens in every game. A guy is standing still his teammate spots him, throws a pass and as he starts the pass motion the still player starts to cut the pass goes into the stands, or a guy goes to make a cross court pass but throws it too high, or he's double-teamed can't do anything, panics and makes a bad pass that ends up out of bounds, or.... Never mind you get the point.
yes but did it say he was double teamed no and if someone tipped the ball then it would still be my ball and it was not a cross court pass because it was thrown out of bounds in the back court i dnt have a problem with something like one of the examples you said but they should tell me one of those things happend not that he just threw the ball out of bounds
Well if you picture it as him catching the ball, turning, and launching it in to the stands sure that might be a little unrealistic but a missed connection on a pass is not. Maybe the guy he was trying to pass to had his head turned and wasn't expecting the outlet, or maybe the passer wasn't looking and threw it where he thought the guy was but the other guy was already down the court. Players make stupid plays all the time in RL. No reason to not expect it in HD too.
i agree with you but i think they should say that in the play by play
And then again, maybe there wasn't any need to describe it like that in the PBP because maybe, just maybe, your player hates his head coach and really DID just throw it out of bounds because he wanted his coach to lose.  There are so many different scenarios that the PBP can't possibly describe them all.  Your guy turned it over late in the game.  It happens, deal with it and move on.  Good gracious, next you're gonna want to know why the PBP didn't describe what your team discussed during a timeout or why it didn't tell you how many of your players took a **** break at halftime.

I know I get extremely upset when it doesn't tell me exactly how many times my PG dribbled the ball while bringing it up the court.  I almost, almost quit reading the PBP altogether once I figured out that it didn't tell me if my players were telling each other to switch when the other team screened one of my guys.  Absolutely ridiculous that such pertinent information wouldn't be included.  RIDICULOUS I SAY!!!

somehow, I doubt he would have complained/whinned/cried if the other team passed it out of bounds with 5 seconds....tough game and tough luck...it happens

He saw a hot, hot girl in the stands and got distracted ...

pats ... first of all, stuff like that does happen in real life.

Second -- don't take the pbp so literally/seriously. It could've said any number of things that equated to a turnover (double dribble, travel, ball out-of-bounds off his foot, intercepted by the other team). They're fairly interchangeable in this engine. Your guy committed a turnover at the end of a game. That happens.

at least he didn't call a non-existant timeout and lose the game on technical free throws...

Imagine how ****** off patsrule would be if, in the football sim, the opposing team threw a desperation pass on 3rd and 5 that the wide receiver somehow caught against the side of his helmet, keping alive a Super Bowl-winning drive against his previously unbeaten team. That **** NEVER happens in real life.

I wonder if he talks like he types.  You know, never stopping to pause or take a break of any sort.  That could be kind of interesting, for awhile anyway.

Hell, look at the NBA finals when Russell Westbrook had a turnover when the game on the line off of a inbounds pass. It happens even to the professionals.

Patsrule...NEWSFLASH...the PbP is window-dressing.  The engine simply determines that a turnover occurs...then the type of turnover is randomly assigned.

Yawn.

Interesting! I didn't know that and I've been playing since 2004. LOL

In the first round of the NT my player throws the ball out of bounds will 5 seconds that makes no sense how that would happen can anyone explain how a player can manage to do that
Right, because no one, ever, has committed a turnover in the last five seconds of a game in real life.  I'd definitely send in a ticket and ask CS to show you an example of that EVER happening.  I've been watching basketball for a number of years and I can honestly say that I can't recall one instance, not one, of a player committing a turnover that late in the game.  I would be absolutely irate if I were you.
LMAO...my screen is dripping with sarcasm.

I figured it out. He is a Pats fan so he must think the rules dont apply to him...

while i really appreciate the sarcastic comments - like everyone else, emy's had me lol'ing - i'll try to put the response in more realistic terms:

you were playing against a fcp. assuming that your best passer, thomas heiss, didn't inbound the ball (since he would likely be the one carrying it up the court), he likely couldn't shake a dt because of his below average spd / ath. that left hensler as the best option to pass to in the backcourt to push the ball up. his pass rating is a 50 (your second best pass rating for a non-frosh). i don't play d3, but i can't imagine that's very good. he was double teamed (you don't need the pbp to tell you that...its assumed when playing against the fcp that almost every player is either dt'ed or wide open - don't kill me if this, as a general statement, is wrong...). with his low pass rating and the dt, and the necessity for him to make the play with time expiring, he made a bad pass pushing the ball up the court which landed out of bounds. doesn't seem so out of the realm of possibility, imho.
