Well, in exhibition #1, we held a crappy D1 team to under .500 from the game (25/57, .439, no one better than .500) with him starting and playing 23 minutes at the 3.

1 TO, 1 Steal, 1 def. reb., only 2 fouls with D- off. IQ and D+ def. IQ.

We lost, and got crushed on the boards, but that's only partly his doing (we're weak in rebounding rating). I think I'm going to try him at the 2, still with 1 distro and -2, during exhibition #2 to see if it gets really ugly.

Not sure I have the stomach to start him at PG, even in exhibition.

Set his distro to zero...what are you worried about?

Well, I'm relatively certain that even distro at 0 doesn't mean he'll never touch the ball. And, with D- IQ, 22 ball handling, and 12 passing running the point, I think turnovers would be a huge problem and it would get very ugly very fast, no?

Anyone I don't want shooting, I set to zero.  Those guys still take shots, it just isn't very many.  It also, limits TO's for the guys with low BH.

I distinctly remember reading somewhere on the forums that setting a players distro to 0 was effectively like playing a man down on offense, really hurting your chances of scoring by turning it into a 4 on 5 situation.  Is this right/wrong?

I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

YEah, I run zero's all the time.   There are usually 5 guys on my teams that have zeroes.

Awesome, thanks. That guy definitely looks like a fair comparison and my guy should at least end up similar by his junior/senior year.
