I'll assume that you are a replacement owner and didn't get a chance to hire any coaches yourself, if that's not the case... I think you already made the situation worse.

Which is the more entertaining butchery of the language?
A) "more useful then an ok Ira"
B) "and he ain't be a WO for sure"
B, definitely.

Anytime anybody can work an "ain't be" into a conversation, you've got a winner.
This lady?

I though of posting a picture of her, but decided not to go there.

'Tard minds think alike!

I was typing on a crappy android phone, with the teeny tiny little keys.  I think Android has a worse spell checker then even the iPhone has.  Unless you spend 10 minutes per post re-reading and fixing mistakes those types of funny messages come out.  lol

Anyhow, I was just saying that he wont be an effective started unless he gets a minimum 10 pt bump on all of his ratings, and even then he wont be anybody youd want to be above the 5th spot.  More then likely he will just be a marginal LRA, if not a LRB.  Ofcourse if he improves enough he could be an effective closer.  But I dont see that much improvement out of 'em.

B was the clear winner there though.  "Ain't be a WO for sure" is some funny arse sheyat from a spell checker.   :)

As I mentioned earlier, this player could be in my starting rotation right now.  I guess it's a good barometer for my team when experienced owners can sniff  "he might be a decent long reliever... someday."

Yannick Heredia-Pitching Coach
Hit IQ=7  PITCH  IQ= 95  PAT=57  STRAT=77  DISC=86  LOY=38
I hired the coaches but can't figure how this guy made the situation worse.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I asked because of the various opinions I have read about bringing guys up too early. In the future I will keep that old saying about opinions in mind.

The obvious answer is "Leave him in the bigs and, if you must, demote him before ST next year."   It's not like he can't be a BL pitcher right now.
Just do this.  He's fine and will be a solid SP.
