and its hard to gauge how good a conference is based on NTs   because i know for a fact that if the North Atlantic was in Wooden, they would have no where NEAR nine titles.   the competition is just too deep across the world.  


the best collection of coaches (which makes it the toughest conference to win in) is UAA in Naismith.   But Wooden is still hands down the toughest world to have a DIII team in.  

Which is why I'm going out and saying my 39 game win streak in the UAA is the greatest achievement in WIS!!! (ok, no it's not, but we've established that this is not the thread for humility! lol)

polo has it down pat. UAA is easily the toughest conference to win in, and Wooden is the toughest world to win in. But the fact that the UAA added itself to Naismith does close the gap.

R.I.P. Upstate. Your run was superb. You'll still be very very good even if you may have just been bumped to around 7th on the conference pecking order.
