I think it could happen if it's programmed but I doubt it will ever happen but maybe it will bring excitement to the game that coaches can move to the professional level.  Something exciting should be done to give guys who are in BCS schools the chance to do something greater.  Another Idea would have like a AD at each school and let that person hire a coach to run the university as a mentor or something.  You can have two people run the team and split the duties I guess.
