You have to win a game as well.
Not true. When I applied for B- Virginia in Knight, I was 3-3 in NT play, 0-1 in PI play, and I lost the job to a guy who was 0-4 in NT play and 3-6 in PI play. Longevity counts for a lot, even if you never win.

I am half *** thinking about getting prison raped in D1 again........What's D1 Phelan look like?
Just checked - Iowa St. Vandy, Auburn are the only big 6 schools open.  Ivy has lots of human coaches too, and a decent amount in A10.
I might take Cornell next season.....I feel a calling to take over the Big Red...

What do you think a NT win is worth 75 wins?

I'm not sure whether you're trying to mock me or ask a question. I think the former, but if I misinterpreted, I apologize. The point I mean to make is just that you don't need NT wins if you have enough longevity.

To provide more details on the situation in question, the resumes looked like this:

Resume A
341 wins
6 PI berths
3 PI wins
4 NT berths
0 NT wins
amassed over 16 seasons
qualified for B- BCS schools

Resume B
178 wins
1 PI berth
0 PI wins
3 NT berths
3 NT wins
amassed over 9 seasons
qualified for some (not all) C+ BCS schools

You can draw one of two conclusions from this:

(1) An NT win doesn't outweigh 50 regular season wins
(2) Making the PI is a significant factor in the resume

Personally, I don't really see why overall number of wins should matter at all, but I think it clearly does. If I were in charge of figuring out what resume factors were important in WIS, I would focus on number of NT games played. That rewards people who make the NT, even if they go one-and-done, but it rewards people who win games a lot more. Maybe count a PI game played as .25 of an NT game (which is how they are counted for recruiting money purposes). I do like how they take four-year and ten-year samples.

So with my method, these two resumes would look like

Resume A
last four years: 3 NT games, 1 PI game = 3.25 points
last ten years: 4 NT games, 7 PI games = 5.75 points

Resume B
last four years: 4 NT games, 1 PI game = 4.25 points
last ten years: 6 NT games, 1 PI game = 6.25 points

But that's just my pet preference for methodology. The way it actually works, consistently making the postseason, with a few NTs sprinkled in, will get you a BCS job, even if you don't win any NT games.
