If smokey is serious then maybe someone else would take over his team now to keep things fluid. I'd offer, but I already did that when we had someone drop out at the beginning. Also, Had anyone in the top 3 had any inclination I would have gladly and eagerly changed my 22 pick with them in a heartbeat, but I don't recall that offer being made. There's not a single one of us who haven't seen guys we thought would be available go off the board before we could get them. Its normal. It would have happened to you no matter what the format. For me personally, the only player I took who I had targeted for that round was Favors in the second. By taking 2 teams I have guys in both ends of the draft and I don't have any sour grapes about either of them. Look forward to this every year and just want to have fun with it.

The plan wasn't to screw anyone over. I just copied the rules over from last year and hoped people would express their concerns before the draft started. Unfortunately, I don't remember this being an issue before the 6th round started.

i think the current rl nba trend of monitoring mins is going to kill this league....just not enough high min guys anymore

look at the number of 2500+ min guys each season since i started this league...

14-15  -  31
13-14  -  49
12-13  -  52
11-12  -  46
10-11  -  63
09-10  -  59

thats a pretty big drop from previous years...the number of $6m+ players were cut in half from last year as well

Designating a couple of high minute, low impact players as non-exclusive should fix the problem.

The lack of quality defenders in this pool should lead to a lot of high scoring games league wide. Only 141 players out of around 580 have a D rating of 60 or higher

no there has always been enough mins....if someone comes up short on mins, its there own fault for not taking higher min guys when they had the chance...thats part of the strategy

*Could have a problem coming up. Smokey said he's out if the draft order remains the same. I do agree that the ABBABB format was a mistake, but that's what everyone signed up for including him. The time to discuss it was before the draft started. At this point, dropping out and leaving a half drafted team isn't cool. What can we do, void the last round and start over? *When I made my last pick, I had a list of 10 guys I wanted. With my pick due in 20 minutes, only one of them remain and he was at the end of the list. With a ABBAB ect format I would've had a chance to get Amare or Jennings who I had at the top of my list and recently were picked. But oh well.

*I really don't like my team lol. While my position in the draft order hurt my chances, most of my problems are self inflicted. I was driving when I picked Ed Davis, had targeted Asik who had just been taken, and didn't even consider Bogut who DH took a couple of picks later. I think that was a mistake. Had wanted Durant in the 5th, but logged in 5 minutes too late as bf had taken him as a late pick into my time slot.

*I like DHs team a lot. Most of the top 6 picks teams look good so far despite the format. I like how Krishna got Brook Lopez and D Jordan together. They compliment each other nicely. Robusk B should be a monster on the boards. Really I feel a combination of the draft pool and draft format has helped make the teams at the top and bottom of the draft order the strongest, but that's just my opinion.

Blackball him from any future theme leagues if he quits... I hate my team. It sucks balls, but I'm not gonna quit & leave 23 other owners high & dry

In hindsight, the only good pick I made was Greg Monroe in round 2

What are your team payrolls looking like. I'm in at just UNDER $40 million. I'm assuming that spells disaster

wrt next season...the double abba format only cheats the early draft owners. The single abba is more than enough to balance the league.
