If THAT is all it takes to qualify as abrasive, again, that's not a me problem.  I could have said much, much worse.  It's a direct, honest answer.  If you're not prepared for that, then a public forum probably isn't for you.  It's not my job to market for WIS.  It's not my job to make people feel comfortable.  It's not even my job to answer questions here...I do that when I feel like it for free.  If he joins 4 or 5 worlds, he's going to see way worse than that in the WC.

If Mike thinks my response was harsh, and I've seen some of his responses, maybe there's something to it.  But probably not.

A)  I thought it was unnecessary not particularly harsh.  As I said, my SECOND response to posters might be along that line, or much worse, when they ask a question, it's answered and they dismiss the answer as bullshit.   That person is just looking for confirmation not an answer.

B)  At this point, everyone playing HBD sort of has a responsibility to help, or at least not turn away, newer owners.  I'm sure you may have noticed that a lot of worlds have trouble filling.  We kind of need owners.  I'm not saying that dumbshit questions should be politely answered.   I don't really think that was a dumbshit question but, if I had, or if I felt he spent about 0 time even looking for an answer, I could have ignored it.  It takes less time to not answer than to reply.
