Just noticed that eleibowitz and uptowngbv after taking D Wade in the first round of the last 2 drafts both took the same 2nd and 3rd round picks. Eleibowitz went SF again in round 4 while uptowngbv went high usage SG. I don't think that I will copy cat either one of those strategies but they are interesting to look at.
I was fascinated by this too. The "all SF" title 2 seasons ago was a roster that really intrigued me and had me rethinking what rebounding levels were truly needed in this league. Then two of the same SF helped win Dwade another title.

i know youll make it work regardless...but doesnt it seem early to declare that? what if a kick a$s pf is sitting there with your next pick? wouldnt you want to take advantage of 02-03s 8/26 90d at the sf?

Hoping that McAdoo makes a good secondary scorer for D Wade. McAdoo has less than 4 turnovers and fouls per 48 minutes which I love.

How much rebounding does it take to win a title here? I always go for a lot of it. Maybe it has been over emphasized a bit. It seems like recently all of the teams winning the title didn't look that good to me when they were drafted. I'm trying to stay relevant in this league but so many owners are so good now.

My team won the glass last year. Against indidual opponents and overall team rankings (top 5, I believe). I didn't forget or neglect boards.

And that's not meant to sound defensive. I'm just saying, "Don't neglect the rebounds!".

And to add to this rebounding is of course important but you shouldn't sacrifice too much for it. Great example is my pick with Garnett. 02-03 gives fantastic rebounding at the SF but 05-06 is a much better offensive player. Now not saying I won't use 02-03 but but I believe there's a diminishing returns on too much rebounding especially if you are sacrificing in other areas

What was your Oreb/dreb drafted uptown? I am too lazy to look it up at moment but guessing dreb was like 90%?

I know for me, I normally shoot for 100 (which normally means one 25+ dreb guy upfront). The last two title teams incl yours did not have that one monster guy but, yes, your in season results were fantastic due to the balanced rebounding you had 1-5. Unless I am misremembering...

that was a mouthful... actually, boards are all about the "chi"   ; )

Never used Barkley before.  Or Lanier.  It's possible I'm already frittering away the season.
