Look at % of points from threes. Column on the far left is positioning, then the range of percentage of points from three in the next two columns.
3 48 100 48.00%
2 40.92% 48.00% 38.81%
1 36.71% 38.81% 35.13%
0 33.56% 35.13% 31.67%
-1 29.78% 31.67% 25.48%
-2 21.19% 25.48% 18.86%
-3 16.54% 18.86% 8.27%
-4 0 8.27% 0.00%

Well, that escalated quickly!

Sorry man... One thing I would tell you in general is to not recruit sub 35 DE or ATH guys, even at DIII.

Just block cubcub113, pallas, and coachspud... We all seen what happen with Hilary Clinton and her 3-1 lead.

It doesn't matter. I don't care if you don't read insightful posts from us three--generally! ;) I love your enthusiasm for the game Ward. Just stop giving misinformation to new coaches.

No worries. I've been reading the forums long enough to know what advice to put my stock in and what to take with a grain of salt.

My motive for asking is that I'm in my fourth season with a rebuilt team that is really starting to come together. Hoping to make a run in my CT this year and put together a big season next year. I feel like my game planning skills could use some sharpening to get the most out of these guys. I've been guessing on too many things my first few seasons.

Glad to hear you like the game and that you're team is coming together. You need to be skilled on both sides of the dice in order to win a conference tourney and have a national tourney bid. You can't just be one dimensional in and aspect of the game. I have still yet to learn div 1 and have yet to learn flex and zone. It took me 7 seasons in my first go around to reach the conference final and win the conference tourney source here https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/CoachProfile/Default.aspx?uid=833675&wid=6. I would advise getting a "qualified" mentor who is mediocre great at game planning.. Not that many clicks for game planning duties .

Check the teams of some of the owners who actually know of what they speak. If they run the same D, sitemail them.

Here's how it was explained to me, slay: Shots taken from three / total shots taken. If it's above 33% play + defense, if it's below, play - defense. And for every three or four percent above or below 33%, add one or subtract one.

That's a very basic answer. Like Mike said, sitemail one of us.

The sad thing is that Ward thinks his information isn't misinformation.

Why would Wardo send a link to his coaching profile? You'd think he would want to hide the fact that hes 51 games below .500 lol.
