pretty much. there's a guy who coaches Wisconsin in Knight and he doesn't keep any recruits at their actual position. 6'1 #1 ranked freshman SG plays PF, #6 freshman C plays SF. it doesn't make much sense but he's finished in the top 10 eighteen straight years so he knows more than me.
Not quite the same thing.
LISTED position has always been known to mean nothing. And you can change these before the season all you want.
What we're talking about is that position they're actually playing. A player who has 1 reb is not a PF/C no matter what his listed position is. Or a C with 20 Pass is not a PG. But if you switch them in the actual depth chart (not just the listed position name) then the results didn't change all that much
