Right now, I am seeing that D1 sims feel like a D2 human is too powerful to compete with for D1 recruits. If you get ahead of a D1 sim as a D2 team, they don't seem to put more effort in. If D1 sims would have a better realization that they could beat D2 humans, that would also solve the issue. It would make D1 sims more competitive and D2 and D3 humans more in line with reality. This will also happen as more humans reach D1.
Actually, It works as intended. It's really tough to beat out SIMS D1 now because they come back three to four times with efforts. I had to go all-in on a lot of recruits against D1 teams. Sometimes, they even beat you to it and it's frustrating. Imagine now, when you take over a program and you do not have the préférences on your side, it's even tougher with a bad prestige. I had that at St-Joes D2 and got beat at least three times by SIMS. And it seems D1 humans beating D2 has been adjusted cause I got passed so easily by UNLV on my A+ New Mexico team (I have been there forever). I had put a lot of efforts into the recruit and once UNLV decided he wanted the kid, he got me to low in a cycle. Which is again working as intended. To hold off a D1 human, you need to get to a AP every cycle of 60 to 80... I think. And be all-in. I'd like to see new cases of D2 beating a D1 human team. Again, the signing preference is really important for D2 teams, late could become a real mess real quick. And spreading around your AP on D1 players will, once the world fill more, become a true mistake.

Why should anyone be allowed to compete against elite schools without anything earned? We all worked years to reach elite level schools and now we have to have a coin flip against a school who should worry about winning something first. I dropped my 'Cuse team in Smith right away because of this. Problem with people today...feel they deserve something without working towards it.
Honestly Worthy : No B and Under teams can compete with my Clemson A- team... I battle B+ to A+ teams and when I face a A+ team, if that team plays it right, the coin flip will be VH to that team and H to me, which means they win 66% of the time. It works out. But now, you can't go on all players... You need to step up and show your interest. If you decide to go on many targets, which I never do, you will have lesser talent but more depth.

Do you really think SIMAI is recruiting hard? I wasn't the least bit bothered by SIMAI D1 showing up when I was recruiting for D2. IMO, when a D1 shows up before a lower level can actually sign, you should be sweating bullets. I just dropped a few HV and a CV. Got both guys.

Multiple SIMS showed up in RS1 on both. 206/185 AP and 8/10 HV got them.

There are SIM who go hard at a player. If you do not drop them to VL, they come back... And you will get out of resources. Try it. There is a trick though, get them to VL. I think it's working as intended to be honest. Cause a D2 can't battle that many D1 with the money they have. They will get a player or two doing that but will have to decide on battles.
