I'll preface this by saying I didn't look at the game I question. One thing I tell anyone that asks me for advice is you need to consider the different tempos a human opponent will run and come up with some sort of odds of winning each scenario. For example if I'm debating between normal and uptempo (which I rarely ever use) I want to have a good idea where I stand if the opponent runs slow/normal/uptempo. If I figure I have a 60% chance of winning an uptempo/slowdown game but an 80% chance of winning the same game if I run I normal instead of uptempo then I'm gonna run normal. I've lost count of the number of NT games I've won because my opponent ran uptempo instead of normal.
(Sorry if this was confusing as I hate typing on my phone).
