How do you guys sort out all the different positions if you are using colors to mark players you are targeting? Its annoying how all the players are mixed together and you cant sort by position...hence why I use the last 3 colors to sort by position.
Recruit pool, color designation, position designation.

But once you have your recruits under Blue for instance....you then cant sort them by position which is annoying, so for me it would add an annoying amount of extra steps trying to compare SGs with SGs for example.

For instance, I know I'm targeting a PG/SG in RS2. I chose PG or SG, all colors. I know I have 2 schollies offered(red), one unlocked(yellow), 9 other primary targets(blue) if the red/yellow fall apart, and two more, last ditch targets(green).

Oh wait, I see what you are doing....didnt think to go there to look at my pool of recruits, I just went to the recruiting home

yeah, I never used the Recruit pool to check out recruits....always used that home screen. Learn something new every day :)

Btw, why cant we sort our Targets by position? I like that screen because then I can see all the guys Im interested in

It's one of the reasons I don't think recruiting is all that time consuming. We have the tools. It's just a matter of figuring out how to make them work for you.

You can sort them even further using the "range" options. Ath 50-100, Spd 60-100, PER 50-100, sort by passing(ascending). Unfortunately, you can't account for potential so you have to use lower bottom end numbers than you'd like in order to see the low blue/green that should hit your minimum requirements.

If I want to compare recruits I do it on the compare list on the recruiting pool screen. I don't sort by position with my color coding because sometimes the guy I recruit for a position is not always at the position listed. My best PG for my Elite 8 Southern Mississippi team last season was originally a SF.

That's why I use colors to indicate the position I WANT him to play.

Right, I do the same....If I think a SF can handle PG I'll mark him as Green for my PGs.....

During beta, I said it took about 20 minutes to actually scout and determine my priorities and targets. I have that down to about 10 minutes now.

It takes me longer to scout because I'm not used to having all that D1 money. But D1 scouting taught me how to do it better in D3(I think).

I've heard others say it takes them very little time as well. It takes me weeks! Haha. That's why i changed my mind about the 2 game per day worlds. The recruiting pops up too soon for me.

i can scout, pinpoint exactly who i want the first day that i get a nice pool of players together, I'm ready to roll!..... And then i look again and change my mind. Then again. Then again. Next thing i know I've got 40 guys I'm looking at, to fill 3 slots or something. I drive myself crazy doing it

I also use the note section to say "PG 1" or "PG2" so I know who is my top target and then all the way down to 3 or 4. That note will show up on the Recruiting home page.

I like red for prime targets, blue for secondary targets, and yellow for battles or backburners (making sure the leading school hasn't offered more schollies than he has available).

Green for desperation targets.
