What else could you possibly need?
What position you'll end up playing him at. Right now, he's a 3, but if he's BH and Passing develops. , he could turn into a 2 or possibly a 1 with significant improvement.
I wouldn’t plan on passing getting much above 45, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this type of player with super-high passing growth. Much more likely he turns blue after a point or two.
Why does the type of player matter for growth? Green passing can be in the 40s.
It probably can be, it just usually isn’t. I can’t think of a player I’ve seen start with passing under 20 end up with 40+ growth.

Sf's can be great passers but at this level the highest will likely be reserved for pg's and sg's. I do have a player that was a SF recruit and he will top out around 69. He started out at 23.

Personally, I would either put 8 or 0 in rebounding. At 7 he will stay the same, so I disagree with the one that said 6. I would rather start out by using all of my minutes on the green and blue values. Once they turn black, then start working or rebounding. Even at 0 he'd probably only lose 1-2 points per season, whereas the could gain a lot more in therein areas. I always start with 20 in conditioning, and go 25 minutes in the offense and defense. I would go
Conditioning - 20
Reb - 0
FW - 15
LP - 10
PE - 10
BH - 15
P - 10

As some of the greens turn to blue, and blues to black, I would switch. With LP and PE, 4 is the break even point, so that's why I am not higher on those, since those are each 6 above break even, FW is 8, BH is 8 and P is 3 above break even.

I went with:

Conditioning - 15
Reb - 1 (I am afraid of zeros)
FW - 15
LP - 13
PE - 13
BH - 7
P - 15
FT: 7

ATHLETICISM 74 1 Still orange
SPEED 49 7 Switched to black MAX 63ish
REBOUNDING 17 still black
DEFENSE 70 15 still GREEN
SHOT BLOCKING 14 1 still red
LOW-POST 46 12 Still GREEN
PERIMETER 47 15 still GREEN
BALL HANDLING 39 5 still GREEN
PASSING 25 10 Still GREEN
WORK ETHIC 68 5
STAMINA 72 10 switched to black MAX 92ish
DURABILITY 54 9

I'm late to the discussion, but I would max out LP and Per if possible, and 0 on rebounding and passing. looks like you are starting him, so WE is going up nicely which is helpful. I'm all about trying to max the green potentials of key areas. if he is playing SF, you can probably limit passing (you want the ball to stop with him anyway - he's a scorer!). I would also lay off conditioning/footwork as his Def, ath, spd, stamina are all at accepatable levels right now. I would consider circling back to them after Per/LP was up higher. in sum - I would focus on BH, Per, LP. how much are you spending on IQ?

I do 20 minutes on IQ. He's at a B- with about 9 practices left so he'll get to an A+, year 4ish. His HS GPA is like 3.4 as well.

I had the COND and PASS high because I:

1. Promised him 25 minutes and I didn't want him to play super tired all the time.
2. Gave him zero distro year 1 so I wanted the PASSing to not be horrendous.

Going forward, I will throttle down on those two and increase the scoring attributes.

afraid of zeros? I'd just zero that **** out.

What is his FT? Orange? If so, I'd zero that out too and put it in LP/PER.

Damn that dude's going to be good.
7/13/2018 10:47 AM
Wow, he’s developing really well. Great find.
7/13/2018 12:46 PM
I wouldn't redshirt the guy. Just play him, and play him often.
7/13/2018 2:14 PM
Personally I would drop FTs to zero and really develop LP and PE. Very nice find!
7/13/2018 7:10 PM
For record keeping: DEF max 100, LP max 78
