150 fewer innings and all that extra money spent on better players sounds pretty good right about now. Learning how to judge these things takes time.

Midway notes:

I really went with low total IP (1315 with ~50 mop up) to draft the kind of defense I would need behind my pitchers, but so far the innings seem to be right where they need to be. There's some fatigue but it's manageable. Like I literally have to manage the rotation and pen every day shuffling players to keep them at or near 100%. Offensively this team rakes. Up and down the lineup they have been consistent all season. A bit of fatigue is setting so a few cycles of rest may slow the run they're on, but overall they are performing nearly as expected. Also, check out their double play totals! I think it was nearly 250 at the break!
