Yes. You can win the battle. Especially if you use a promised start and/or promised minutes. The recruit will respond even more to promises if they have a preference “wants to play”.
At D3, you can get all D1 recruits. It’s a game of patience until the end of recruiting because human coach D1 or D2 will beat you almost always. But you can beat Sims.
There are also some gems at D2 level to recruit for your D3 team.
What if they don’t have “wants to play?” Will it still be a decent affect?
Yes, there will be a one times bonus when you give them minutes unlike when there is “wants to play” that bonus will carry every cycle.
like I said before, if you targeted a recruit before the Simmy then you are likely to win. Keep applying the AP.
shoe: yes battles and risks are a necessity to win HD & life. But let’s be real here, there are a lot of factors that need to be in your favor to stand a chance when you are second to the party for a recruit against an upper division school
Here’s what I was responding to:
”I don’t know how heavily they have targeted the recruit though because they’re just listed on the considering list but there hasn’t been a scholarship offered.”
Sim AIs just showing up on the list aren’t a worry. As I’ve said from the beginning, you want to get ahead early and stay ahead, you don’t want to try to make up ground from behind as a lower division School against sim. What he said implied he was ahead. In that case, there is no good reason for him to abandon ship.
If they are recruits he’s trying to get back in contention for, then yeah, time to call it a day and move on to the next guy.
