all time d3 point scorers in each world? Topic

Even though I never won a championship during, the final 3 seasons of William Eatmon (Texas Dallas in Smith) were some of the most fun I've had!

Eatman only played 11 minutes a game his FR (was a redshirt) season and averaged only 7 point per game. It wasn't until halfway thru his sophomore season that I really started to think about him winning the season scoring title (he came in second. Definitely went for the season scoring title his junior season. I think it was impala who informed me near the end of his junior season he could be the All-time highest scorer D3 Smith. I didn't even know where to find such a record. SR season definitely went for it, But he actually averaged more his Jr season.

Went to the Elite 8 and Final 4 his last 2 seasons.

bump for sportsbulls.
See second post on first page.
but this info is a year and a half old, so it could have changed

In fact it did change in iba where Ronnie Kim PBA (mentioned earlier in this thread) took over the scoring lead, but alas, did not get to 4,000.
but maybe even cooler story is Frankie "take it to the" Wilbanks, he came right after Kim, and ended up 2nd on the iba d3 list. But the best part is he had gone to a year of juco and so had only 3 years of eligibility left (I redshirted him).... and won NPoY all three years.

I feel like dashdebater is not going to be impressed. lol

Having the NPoY 5/6 seasons is really impressive (you may have won it in 108 but I'm not in Iba to check), despite the nature of the award gearing towards stat-stuffers at times. In fact, it looks like your team did better in the postseason when you had these players putting up those types stats. Very cool!

If that list is correct, seems like Winters has taken over as the highest scorer in HD.

kudos to young mr palmer

i know this will sound like the pot calling the kettle black, but i tend to turn up my nose at low efficiency scorers. granted, in my run of great SGs at PBAU-iba, i was not exactly playing a murderers row schedule. LOL

not as loft in raw scoring numbers, but efficiency wise, what a monster. only started 2 seasons, over 3k points

played with that other guy. those were hard teams to beat! those couple guys - really their coach - spawned a game update made just for him. y'all are free to count points however you like, but IMO 'how many times did the player break the game and force the developers into action' is a more impressive record than raw points :)

alas, the amazing run at PBAU-iba is over. I forgot to renew last year.. :-(

here is the run..

17 NPoY in a 24 year stretch.
(all SGs)
in the 7 years where we didnt win NPoY..
1 1st team AA
3 2nd team AA
2 3rd team AA
1 hon mention AA

I think we have the top6 scorers all time in iba D3 and 7 of the top10.

we had seven different guys win NPoY at least twice. One of them won it 3 times (the aforementioned Fred "take it to the Wilbanks", who was a juco transfer and won NPoY all three years he played d3 ball)

My last year, I had a sophomore, Adam "Lightning" Hopkins, that won NPoY and seemed poised for the threepeat, but new coach ab90 couldnt keep the streak alive. :-(. ab did get hop an efficient 30ppg. but i cant see who actually won to see how they pulled it off and whether it was highway robbery.

Most likely the streak is done, the good news for pbau fans is that ab 90 will almost certainly deliver more NT success, which alot of folks seem to value.

I had decided when I took over RHIT that I would 'sacrifice' 4 seasons and see what it looks like when you give 100 distro to someone playing uptempo FB / FCP and +2 3pt tendency. Our team results were actually better than I expected, including an E8 appearance.

But, I don't know if he is overall D3 leading scorer now?

If I ever manage to get someone similarly stacked in SPD / PER to take a RS, I may try this again.

i feel like maybe THE most important attribute when chasing career points is ST. its sooooo important.
theres only so much a dude can shoot,,, per minute. but give him more minutes, and voila! more shots! also his scoring efficiency improves as he is fresher more often

DE can also be important as you dont want him fouling out.
