I beamed myself into your League stats for last season & saw that most Starting Pitchers, no matter how good had mid 4's & North of 5 ERA's... so I said, **** drafting starting pitching until the middle of the draft...figured there were enough "good options" to be had on the back 9 & I'd go with whatever was left. Tried to get the best bang for my buck out of C (King Kelly) SS (Appling) 2B (Eddie "don't call me Phil" Collins) & Joe Jackson

yeah... I'm listed as a "Prospect" but I played under toddleduc in like 1,000 Leagues from 2005-2016 until my wife & I split & she got the dog & laptop & I went into early retirement.... then I got shot by a hottie in a Chicago hotel room with a silver bullet RIGHT when I was supposed to try out for the Cubbies & sort of got sidetracked... was in & out of the hospital, but my mind was always on the game. And I just couldn't let the Judge steal the team out from under Pop, no matter how hot Memmo was... meanwhile Uncle Jesse & Couter were over at the Boar's Nest with Daisy, but what the Bo & Luke didn't know was that Roscoe & Boss Hogg had something cookin' down at the county fair....

Anything can happen in the sim... great players have crap seasons sometimes & crap players have great seasons sometimes...… YEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHHAAAAWWW !! Hold onta yer hats, fellas... Jumped in the draft as a late replacement as I was going to take a break due to the holidays and start of the year so I didn't have any pre-draft plans. Took Babe #3 as I haven't used the Babe in this league and I usually love offense. Lead league in runs 3 out of last 4 years with different type of lineups and wanted to surround the Babe with some power and go for a homers park. Of course the way to assemble a power lineup is by drafting the only $12 million or greater player with zero homers-Hughie Jennings-with my second pick. Usually pretty balanced between hitting, starting pitching, great bench and bullpen but this year ended up with all that money tied up in my first 13 picks. Half of my team is $3 million or less and that scares me, a lot. Pen is a lot of guys less than 40 IP, I usually ride one or two arms until they fall off and with Tim Keefe and Ed Morris that's going to happen this year with Doc White as the long A. They pitch innings and expect a lot of complete games. Playing in the new House That Ruth Built-Yankee III. Ruth better like that or else this will be a long season.
