From the D1 players point of view what is the difference between what the D1 team would have to pay in HV at the end of RS1 and the first cycle of RS2 to knock the D2 team to moderate or less?

Well based off our only real estimate being "12ish" for the D1 to steal the signing, i'd say to push the D2 out of range period would add a few more visits. That would put things around 15ish maybe

If we’re talking about a truly all in A+ D2, and a D level D1, I don’t think they will be able to push the D2 to moderate in RS2. Not if the AP differential is that large. Depending on what the specifics actually look like, and how the preferences fall, the D1 may not be able to get in the lead at all, not without a massive AP reassignment, and a very late signing.

I actually think an A+ DII is pretty comparable to, and maybe even slightly ahead of, a D DI in prestige credit, but that is based on a very small sample size of analyzing results of battles.

Seble has stated that there is no overlap of prestige between divisions.

What do you guys think of this one.....

40 AP for an A+ D2 team unlocks the scholarship on a D1 pool player, in one cycle.

80 AP for a low baseline D1 team unlocks the scholarship, promises, AND the HV on that same player, in one cycle.

True or False?

False was my first thought but then I realized it is a trick question. Low baseline does not mean it currently has a low prestige. Is this a WIS version of the Idiotest game show? You almost got me topdog.

The D1 prestige credit is always higher; but depending on the preference profile, the A+ D2 can be in as good, and possibly better overall position.

Haha. No trick. It was just a general question. Should've worded it differently.

But the interesting part is that you, of all people, was the one to respond. Wink wink!

Assuming preferences are equal, it really depends on how high the recruit is ranked. If it is an unranked low overall rating recruit I can see this being true. If the recruit is top 75 at his position, it will take 80+ AP from the D2 team just to unlock the scholarship (preferences play a huge role here), and 40-60 AP from the DI to do the same. Based on my experience, I don't believe the DI can unlock everything in once cycle with only 80 AP on anything but a trash recruit. But again, preferences change these numbers dramatically.

But your talking about two different recruits.

In my example, i'm talking about a guy that took 40 AP for a D2 to unlock in 1 cycle. Which "kinda" tells you what level of talent the player has.

You mentioned a player ranked in the top 75 by position that takes a D2 80+ AP to unlock. That's not the same caliber player necessarily
