Ok, so I've updated the owner rankings to reflect the 87 owners who have signed up. I also added in an additional factor to the formula: what % of your historical teams have been part of the WISC. This corrected a wrong where some owners were being seeded lower just for having played against top competition more frequently.

Does your formula factor in the lower competition of open league play?

Does your formula factor in the lower competition of open league play?

It doesn't, because there's unfortunately no way to know how many open leagues an owner has played vs how many theme leagues vs how many progressive leagues.

It is only possible to do this for WIS teams because I have historical data on how many times each owner has played in the WISC and how many times they made Round 2.

Just to emphasize how tough the field is this year:

Last year’s 4th place finisher, wink0094, is not even ranked in the Top 24. And last year’s 14th place finisher who also scored well on the Recency metrics, redcped, is ranked lower than he was to start last year’s tournament (29th vs 22nd).
