I would say the Answer to that problem would be double teaming the post and weak position player the last player on the team you would chose for yours. I have had several successes Doubling the Weak position player that would be the last player on my team.
i know this is a joke (or whatever you'd call it), but doubling the worst player on the team apparently was a very effective strategy in the early days of HD. i think that was fixed before i ever played the game.
Its not the Worst player on the team its the Worst player on their team who you think might be the worst player on your team. Or you can just double the Left low block and it comes up with a few blocks.
I only use this power play formation when my quarterback is at bat.
I have been having Multiple Bats per play with success while using a Stitch system to fix my roster and pull in players.
I set my power guard to double team the goalie. Now all my At Bats are six point plays.
My Bats are 3 point plays with high frequency with higher set of succeeding.
I post my high frequency Bats on Twitter to help me stitch system recruiting. Power guards and small centers are good quarterbacks for 3 point plays.

I use more Power Forwards than anything so I can set up the two man game to get results. Might have to try that I been trying to get a 6'5 Guard who can block I got a sim Signee like a default character. Not using The Brand New 4 at bats I got either. Been feeding off 2s in my world for days and been Poaching Duke type players and they always end up doing bad.

Funny you mention that one of my Signees I believe got him at a 2.0 Rate so he got 90 SH he cried in Detention when Teacher tried to spank him with the Paddle. Had to set him at HighSchool level settings for a test run after a full season I "believe" He just came off his study hall time.

I got all my shooting forwards against the Cleveland Browns like LeBron for my 3 man game and stitched my roster to a championship. Had to poach the Maple Leafs and the Yankees.

I get my Shooting Forwards from the South no1 works the Up North lots in Allen. Trying to get a 3 man swing but it'll have to be a high power star rating or a Juco player that will fix my roster.

There were some useful thoughts expressed early in this thread. Newbies should be aware that it degenerated into mumbo jumbo
7/4/2019 7:58 AM
This is sooooooo good of a thread for all the wrong reasons! But based off of that delightful back and forth we had here, I'm starting to think that the fake wardo mystery that we have is now solved.......

Sounds like it's kcsundevil. And he was talking to himself during that conversation. Both guys were speaking the same language. A language unknown to the rest of us!

Solid theory, but incorrect. Seemed like the guy wanted to socialize and I was just trying to reach him where he is.

I apologize to anyone who had more to say in this thread. OP should feel free to redline me into oblivion.

Happy 4th everyone!

All else equal - uptempo.

Rebounding gives you more possessions…...uptempo gives your more possessions more possessions.
problem is, uptempo gives everyone more possessions for everything. if you are behind on the whole and run uptempo, without it changing the calculus on the rotation and fatigue, all you are doing is digging yourself deeper.
Hence …… "all else equal"
i follow you now. i took the OP as the other team was a bit better overall, save for rebounding, which was trying to be leveraged. but i see that is actually not the case, the rebounding team is even or slightly better. i mistook your 'all else equal' to mean, things like depth and stamina, stuff that impacted the tempo decision, were equal - but i was still on the (wrong) assumption that the other team had a little advantage.

i suppose if the better rebounding team is clearly the better team overall, uptempo could make sense. i personally don't think the impact of uptempo is symmetric, i think the team running it is penalized more than the other team, and therefore would not run it in this case.
This uptempo penalty was my experience years in the past too, but a couple seasons ago I ran uptempo with a lot more success than I could ever remember. I feel like that was tweaked, but maybe it's just me.

I think the Uptempo Penalty is much larger than most people expect and it still exist.

I am now at 6 and at Patches of 20 stitches per round. So now at least I would be recruiting full classes every year.
