I think it would work, but not a typical write up pitch. It should be reconstructed to an interview with the player where it can be coded. The player has a hidden trait and then ask you like around 5~10 questions to see where he fits into your program. Having done that it would add like a kicker to your overall chances on the recruit depending on how the interview goes. It's likely to be done in code, but should be with a huge array of Questions & Traits.

The whole concept of my suggestion is a Modified "Home Visit" can be on a "Campus Visit" too but it's for them to decide.

Yeah that’s along the same lines. I was thinking kinda like the old recruiting in NCAA video games.
I played that too. Structure wise HD has almost the same as the NCAA video games, but somehow HD's recruiting somehow lack the depth were talking about here.

I don't code so I couldn't even begin to think about how much work it would be. But I thought that this idea if structured correctly (like Basoy6658 mentioned) it could cut into the dice roll confusion and or frustration...maybe. Like I said not all ideas can be winners.

I code in real life and It's highly doable but i don't know how they structured their code flexibility wise for this kind of changes.
It will surely cut the dice roll everyone gets frustrated on, perhaps i would say a lot more of a decision than a dice roll mechanism.

warm climate

cool climate

party school

academic school

pipelines - recruit a kid from a town, next season easier to recruit there - recruit a kid from a specific high school, much easier next time (define town as some unit that has consistent population)

Or the most realistic preference... Ability to get kids into the nba after 1 season.

I would be all for this assuming they got rid of the VH vs H and just made it VH vs VH.
