I was actually thinking about that. I would try to take the local HI D1 talent there as well though.

the important thing is to scout states with JUCOs. I think you have to hit CA, KS, NJ. Are there JUCOs in Texas?

find two schools who by some websites are just over 1000 miles and by others just under 1000 miles for maximum awesomeness! or just 1000+ via driving and die on the hill of the position 'dude, its google maps, you can't question google maps. you know how many miles their map bot cars have driven??' and so forth, and then like three days later be like 'fine, i tried waze, its STILL over 1000 miles'

I hope y'all aren't taking 1000 mile road trips to visit your recruits. Maybe if you had the Madden bus, that'd be sweet.

Trenton: I think Illinois has 4-5 JUCOs per year as well.

here is the full extent of my first class. It’s bad. Cotton should be a player and Hundley isn’t an F but the other dudes are straight up reaches.

So Joe - I wasn't sure how this would work out for you b/c once w/ my UConn team I tried signing a D2 x-fer w/ one year left as a roster filler and the system would not let me sign the kid. So I figured you just weren't allowed to sign a D2 player at a D1 school. Guess I'm wrong about that, but I wonder why it wouldn't let me sign him. He eventually signed with a SIM who had been either moderate or low/very low on the final cycle, I don't remember. I probably already had 6 who were going to be seniors or something. Has anyone else had this problem? If not, I'll chalk it up to human error on my part.
