Or how many of them wanted to take advantage of the double recruiting money and didn't know the flaw was fixed.
the redshirting a senior thing seems pretty whack too. has anyone tried redshirting a senior during signings to see if you can get 13 players or blow the game up?
You have to redshirt before the job change period.
aren't session 1 signings before the jobs period?

"Two other coaches have contacted me in worlds after the season began and asked me if I would be willing to move after a single season in order for them to try to get back the team that apparently THEY forgot to renew."

This is just a ridiculous request for undeserved charity.

Suggested reply: "I might have been able to help you with this if you'd asked during the job change period. But I've paid for the team, I've recruited players, and I'm going to see them through without taking a loyalty hit for job-hopping. If you'd like to join the conference and go up against your old players, I'd welcome the competition!"
i agree with this... it seems like a lot to ask someone to move after one season. perhaps if the person had a really good story and was there a long time. its just like, if you care so much, why the heck are you just finding out about this now? i don't know, its definitely a stretch. i feel like when someone misses by a few hours its pretty rough to deny them but part way into the season? you'd definitely be doing them a favor.

If they're contacting you AFTER the season already began then they must not be very invested in their team to leave them auto-renew and then not even notice they lost their team for several days. That includes Renewal period, job period, Recruiting session 2. That whole time they didn't realize they lost their team?

I say, if they contact you during job period and you want to be a nice guy, go ahead and move. But after the season starts? Nah. Time for the previous coach to move on. You shouldn't feel obligated to move or else you're perceived as a dick.
I have backed off teams for a Coach during job change with CS help. After the season, Benis is 100 percent correct, they were not invested in the team very much if the season already started (unless a hospital stay, or a deployment are part of the story).

once the season starts, how is this different from - i forgot to gameplan for our game last night - if I had, it is obvious that I would have won - when we play a second time at your place, would you be a nice guy and let me win?

It'd be one thing if the game didn't remind coaches they forgot to renew. I'm a brand new player and they give you so many opportunities -- both in game "mail" and multiple emails that job change period is coming up.

I agree with others here: you forget and ask before RS2 begins? Okay, it'd be the good person thing to do to let them have it back.

But after the season begins: I'm sorry, it's on them to find a new team and be more careful :/

Ya I was one of the dummies that lost there club after 30 seasons..I was just wondering what your plans are with the club...I was hoping for a ab90 type of season..lol..GOT 9 CLUBS. And I usually have enuff credits that I don't have to worry. About that happening....You want the club then stay man I wasn't asking you to leave and don't expect you too..gl hope you win it all...This was a honest mistake wasn't trying for extra funds...
