Well I tired to take over Norfolk State, I am not currently qualified and even after pleading with the always unhelpful customer support, they turned me away. They’d rather you guys have a Sim than a real coach. It would be unfair for me, a coach who has four other DI schools take over a D+ school, they said it would be unfair and created such a commotion it just wasn’t possible. No wonder they can’t seem to keep people around, blows my mind.
You've been in D2 for two seasons in Tark, and you have a 20-35 record with no D2 postseasons. Last season, after a job hop, you were 9-18 with an RPI in the 170s.

You aren't new to HD. Stop whining about customer service being the reason you can't promote yet.
I'll side with rowle on this one. I think if you're at D1 in another world, you should be able to almost immediately jump to any D baseline D1 school.
That would defeat the purpose of having separate worlds, my friend.

They are... separate.
Easily with Benis and rowle here. If a team has D+ or lower prestige and D or lower baseline and a coach has a D1 team in another world they should be able to jump. Working through the whole D2 team so many times is not concinient for D1 dominant coaches.
I'm on record saying the slog to D1 is too long too. But that's simply not a customer service issue.

Y'all are yelling at the KFC drive thru for not selling Whoppers. Go play the terrible Wolverine game if you need to be in D1 from your first day.

nobody said from the first day... they said after many days, when you've already slogged to d1, that you shouldn't need to keep doing it. if d1 is fun for you and d2/d3 aren't, and you already had that nebulous educational value from the slog up the first time, i just don't get the argument against allowing the customer what they want, especially if what they want is another team, and an otherwise unwanted one in low d1 that yields good profits for HD at that. IMO, and frankly, from any reasonable viewpoint - you have to have a good reason NOT to give the customer what they want. its not the reverse. it must be shown that its bad for the company/product/etc - if not, give the people what they want.

Would the better example be "y'all are yelling at the KFC drive thru for not selling ... burrito supremes" ...?

I think you all said it for me and appreciate the same thought process. I just don’t understand if you’ve already gone through the process in another world and enjoy DI more than the other divisions, which I do, why do I have to spend money and essentially six months or more of real time, just to pick up another DI team??? It’s a made up game, they can do whatever they want, I am not asking for the impossible, as you say, ordering the wrong food at a restaurant, they choose not to make the customer happy. And this whole post was to ask people to fill the open spots, which is what I was trying to do, but because it’s always been this way, dear god they make a change for the better. If they allow people with experience to choose lower DI schools, that go UNWANTED anyway, how can they possible be losing?

Can we agree it would be a problem if KFC refused to sell buckets until customers had spent at least months, and in some cases years, and a few hundred dollars trying out all the other menu options first? I agree, this isn’t really a customer service problem. It IS a pretty big system design problem though, and it has been for as long as I’ve been here.

I'm with ya. I can't see it hurting any other coach within the game if rowle got a low D1 job. It's not like people are fighting tooth and nail for these jobs and they're so scarce. If he was asking to be put at Cuse... okay then yeah you have a point.

But as you said, you already learned the game, that is part of the purpose about taking time to move up.

The end result is a happier customer/user which results in more active teams which results in fuller worlds which results in more fun and more money for WIS. There really isn't any downside that I can think of.
