Since the release of 3.0, HD has been about choices; how much risk you want to take on, long term planning, optimizing development, or maximizing IQ and increasing odds for staying on campus; really are lots of choices to manage. Like the NFL, it kind of gets to be a copycat league, in that it feels like most people kind of fall in line behind the successful guys who figure out what works best first. And then someone figures out how to counter that, and then on and on it goes. Sure you can try to do it that way. Of course only a handful of guys in a world in a given season can get by with it. And at the end of the day, a lot of *other* guys are going to be fighting for championships, too. So....
Hey, not for nothing, Eastern Washington just won a championship, undefeated in Naismith, a few legit 5 Star types, and some non-5-Star types. Definitely my type of team, obviously except the boring motion-man part.
