I'm truly fascinated that so many of you are more interested in my recruiting strategy than the question I asked. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, and I appreciate the conversation.

Today is the last day of recruiting, kids report tomorrow. None of my Three Stooges passed their SATs overnight.
Haha good point. But on my end, the reason was because I have always felt that the "no shows" just have a bit of randomness to it. So I honestly felt my answer would be as meaningful as if you asked me "how many fingers am I holding up right now, 1 2 or 3?".

So i just gravitated towards what stood out to me. And that was just that you didn't offer promises to ineligibles, when its basically free effort.

But we all did take the thread and run a different direction huh? Hahaha

Oh, hello there, welcome to the thread. I have a fun little parlor game for you if you're interested.

In D1 Tark's current recruiting cycle, I've signed 7 ambitious bright eyed student-athletes to study at America's #1 party school, Tulane (C baseline / D current). Class includes 6 freshmen and 1 juco. We're going to suck mightily next season, and I'm already ranking the new signees for potential releases down the road.

Anyhoo, of the 6 freshmen, 3 are ineligibles. Here's my guessing game for you: How many of these three morons do you think will report to N'awlins when the season begins, and how many do you think will flip me the bird and take their talents to Garden City Community College?

Below is the recruiting data. I didn't make promises to any of the three. I won't divulge which data goes with which recruit, or what positions they play, but you can pull Tulane's profile and make educated guesses.

1) 206 APs, 4 HV
2) 169 APs, 17 HV, 1 CV
3) 160 APs, no visits
Update: All three reported! I thought #3 might ditch, but nope.

Where Jesus goes others will follow...
Incidentally, Gabriel announced his arrival.

That Jesus isn’t athletic enough to walk on water, that’s for sure.
