What about ranked choice voting

Ranked choice voting would be functionally irrelevant if you had 3 or more significant parties. It would only help within the individual states. You could still easily fail to have a majority in the Electoral College. I suppose you could have all the states agree that their electors are functionally ranked-choice, but that would be very susceptible to faithless electors. It's hard for me to see it as a viable solution. I'd still like to see it, but I don't think it opens to the door to a multi-party system.

Well, I also don't support the electoral college.

Ranked-choice with popular vote is probably the best chance we have unless we adopt a completely different system of representation.

Just make it super easy for people to vote so everybody is represented and there's no suppression.

How about early voting. Also mail-in ballots. Votes for immigrants or anyone with a drivers license. People who like to move around a lot. Dead people. OH WAIT! NEVERMIND!

The people who will be in charge in a few weeks don't care about us "little" people any more than the people who have been in charge the last 4 years, or the last 12 years, or the last 24 years. Parties care about themselves and maintaining "their" power and money - nothing else. When one of them has sort of free reign, we "little" people are in BIG trouble.

Not saying Biden and the Dems care much about us "little people" but I do think they care more than Trump does. That's not saying much, since Trump doesn't give one iota of **** about anyone but himself, but I do think Biden has at least a little empathy for people. Trump can't even spell empathy, let alone have any.
