I'm from Oxnard CA and recruit in California. Always have a place for a good player from the 805! I'm recruiting someone now from our old rival school, but I'm going to try to redshirt him lol.
Lots of boxers from that area, and train in that area. Are you aware of that? Know any?
You must mean "Boxnard"! Yes - many have come from my hometown. Fernando Vargas is probably the most famous. One of my elementary school classmates did box low level - "Tony the Tiger" Espinosa - great guy and super tough - back in the 80s-90s.

Just last season at Cuse, had a 4 star from my small hometown and my high school. And they had him 200 miles away! It's like 10 miles. What a bogus bug! I lost him in a dice roll to the Johnnies. What a traitor!

it is lots of fun when you can get a player with this kind of connection

i've had a player from my high school - and from my kids high school - and various other local schools. I especially like getting kids from schools where I have coached rec ball or watched my kids play football, lax and field hockey.......although I am waiting for WIS to come out with lacrosse and field hockey games

I always first search for my hometown with my Southern Indiana team (small town in southern Indiana). One of our best players ever was from my hometown, which was awesome to experience a few seasons ago. Willbr - I have a place in Yarmouth in the Cape. Now I need to start recruiting there!
