Wouldn't it be nice to know that even if your team gets off to s slow start you're still not out of it? Just vote a guy off of the first place team and begin your comeback.

Midge- hypothetical strategy question. A player is voted off a division leader after game 20. You and I are each 13-6 and tied for the div lead going into game 20, and we are playing each other. Is it acceptable for me to sit my starters and "throw" the game to insure that you are the leader after 20 games, and the one that gets your best player voted off?

Of course, I could throw the game, regardless of whom I am playing in game 20 ( even if they are a 2-17 squad... ) It doesn't feel right to purposely lose a game, but it would seem to be good strategy in this case?

The player isn't necessarily voted off of the team that is in first place. The six managers in each division can vote off any player in their division.

If there is a tie in any vote, the manager of the team in the neighboring division will cast a vote to break the tie. This means that there actually is some motivation to be in first place.

This sounds incredibly complicated and almost impossible to understand. Very interesting concept - so it is perfect - I am in if you get enough to fill the league.
