The frenzy for a wall is based on fanatical love for the rhythmic beating of trump chanting about rapists and criminals and spreaders of disease.
the people who worship a wall sing this mantra to themselves and keep the imagery in their head which pleases them and brings comfort to their weary souls.
if trump had spoken about poor families and single mothers with young children trying to come in - a bunch of lady Madonnas who yet were usually stopped and set back his golden calf of a vision of an antiseptic wall could not have been created.
as it is we have always had some wall and walls are not bad. If the trump wall could be built everywhere it would keep out an extra small number of people but at what cost to the American economy for not a lot of gain.
we do have several types of border control that is very effective for the most part.
and in some areas where it could be shored up the American locals want it to be just as it is because the people coming in for seasonal and or permanent work are wanted and are not criminals.
trump created an army of screaming mindless banshees, blowhards and bullies in in his own image
and he completes them.
