the only reason D2 schools can do this, is because 22 cycles went by in RS1 that D1s were not interested. We can't blame the game for that. That's on the coaches.

Sure maybe it's not ideal for new D1 coaches that join a school in RS2, but that's not an "every season thing" for a coach.

Except now combined with the "job" performance requirement WIS intends to implement, I switched to OSU which looks like the previous coach struck out on all his battles, leaving me with 6 openings and unable to even open up offers before they signed. I ended up with 4 mediocre recruits which will be stuck with me for multiple seasons thus likely making R32 in my first 4 seasons very difficult.
