Contact or Batting Eye? Topic

But I find that this is what happens as an example, maybe I'm wrong........

Player A
Contact / Power / vsL / vsR / Batting Eye
90 / 75 / 75 / 75 / 70

Player B
Contact / Power / vsL / vsR / Batting Eye
70 / 75 / 75 / 75 / 90

Player A will hit .285, 38-40 HRs, 125 RBIs, .365 OBP
Player B will hit .300, 30-32 HRs, 110 RBIs, 380 OBP

This is just guesstimates, kinda just trying to give an idea of the differences.

Thoughts????

I rarely have guys that talented. :) Either one of your guys are obviously fine whichever one you pick. My choices are more like 80/80/60/50/60 vs 60/80/60/50/80 vs 70/55/75/75/75.

Ik these are just guesstimates but no way they would have the same difference between OBP and AVG. (of 80) With those numbers player B would have around .390 OBP and player A a .355. Pretty sure the consensus rule of thumb is one extra OBP point for each eye value.

They're very similar hypothetical players. My projections have the following AVG/OBP/SLG, assuming standard speed:

Player A - .290/.358/.473
Player B - .292/.380/.475
