No easy choices here, and though my preference was to get one NL team first and I usually prefer a great pitching team ... I can't turn down the offense on this team:

AL East
1921-1941-1961-1981-2001

One of my top AL teams has some pretty stunning pitching. We'll go AL West and 1940-1960-1980-2000-2020

I'm out of the house for a few more hours so I'll make it very late tonight.

I had a tough time deciding between that and the 1935 group.

I think toysboys meant the AL West (good pick, I would've taken them here).

I am forced to take a second team in a division, so let's get a team that has at least one good RP
1923-1943-1963-1983-2003 (AL East)

Although I could wait, I think I will close out the AL West with...
1937-1957-1977-1997-2017

My last two picks must come from the NL Central & AL Central, so once one more person picks from each of those divisions, that will lock up those divisions.

I was sure that schwarze wouldn't be taking another ALEast team, so I was all ready to select the 1923 group. So much for the best laid plans. . .

NL Central: 1908-1928-1948-1968-1988. Yikes 2 out of the first 3 picks are in the NL Central. This will be either a brilliant choice or a bust. My track record on brilliance is not very good.

I’ve built my 28-48-68-88-08 team and am quite pleased with the offence. I think we’ll do well, although I’d much prefer Wagner and the 1908 pitching to Pujols and the 2008 pitching. Hope to see you in the final.
