I was fortunate to be at the UMD Bulldog game when Brett had his number retired, His Bulldogs line-mate Skeeter Moore lives 2 houses away from me. Great guy, he and his wife are hosting an apple cider press today.

Derek Plante got traded to the Stars late that season. He brought the Cup to the hospital room of my co-worker’s son who was high school hockey player having a cancer relapse. Pretty cool moment for all of them in that room.
