Thru 27 games, the top 20 picks are a robust 269-271. This may turn around a bit as this group is a combined 51-63 in 1-run games.
Remarkably, the combined record of the Top 20 draft teams is dragged down considerably by the 2nd and 3rd picks in the draft. My '37 Yankees are 6 games under .500, while pedrocerrano's '03 Naps are 10 games under .500, so the other 18 teams are a combined 14 games over .500 (which admittedly still isn't great). More remarkably, the 2nd and 3rd picks are both OVERPERFORMING their expected winning percentages: in my team's case .393 vs .365, and in pedro's .321 vs .263.
