Next season I might try something new. Instead of choosing closer to 1 or closer to 24, or adding a closer to 12 option, I might try a pick your draft position feature. Say that you want pick #4, if you’re the only person who requests #4 then you get it. Say you want the #1 pick. If seven people ask for #1, those seven people will go into a lottery, with all seven having an equal chance of getting the #1 pick. The other six will be assigned the next highest available draft slot. Say if someone else requested 3, 4 and 6 and they got those slots, the seven people who requested the #1 pick will be at 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10. This is just a thought to try something different. If you want something like 12 or 16, you have a good chance of getting it….. I think. There might be a scramble for #24. There will be a fight for #1.
