OK. I am verifying the rosters, and I dont see the problem. I will select for Ennam_iv and manon44. Dill was a trooper and said he would continue with the league even though the draft went poorly for him and he lost a proxy group, but didnt want to stay in for more than this one league. I told him that if he didnt want to stay, he didnt have to. So we need an owner for Dill's squad, but I told him that he didnt have to stay. He was more than willing to honor his commitment to the league. I thought I would let you all know he was a man of honor during the bad situation. I was to blame for his leaving the league and not him.
I am going through this ONE LAST TIME to try and find all these problems that others have found. Others say some teams have wrong players, and dont say who, and I cant find them.
Here are the rules for completing your roster......
You will have 18 players after the draft. Leaving 7 to fill the 25 man roster. Thats why you could not go over 98,600,000 because the min is 200k. Multiplied by the 7 you need to fill is 1,400,000. If your team has a salary of 91,500,000 you have 8.5mil to spend on the 7 remaining players. You can spend up to 1.5 million per player on players that you draft to fill your roster to 25 men. Those players MUST be from 2000-2010. You will absolutely need a back up catcher or even 2 of them. Your choice. You can draft defensive replacements if your starters are poor defensively. You can draft 2 relievers at 1.5mil a piece to get more innings to your staff, etc.....
Pick your own AAA.....
If you have never done the draft your own AAA, here is how it works......
After you select all 25 players for your roster, there will be a section at the bottom of the draft menu that asks if you would like to select your own AAA players. I will set the max salary for the players at 1.2 million as I stated in the thread originally, and the years from 2000-2010. So, in essence, you will have 15 players to go along with the 18 that you drafted from 2000-2010 who are 1.5 or 1.2mil and under.
The closer your team was to 98,600,000.... the worse your last 7 players to make up the 25 man roster will be, but EVERYONE gets the same opportunity to add AAA players to fill their own holes. I dont like random AAA because some GMs get lucky and a good AAA guy comes at a position they need help with, and others dont get quite so lucky. Picking your own eliminates that, and I thought it was necessary due to the nature of drafting multiple players with draft picks which might have left PA, defense, or speed holes on teams.
