You said I don't understand recruiting and there couldn't be a more false statement....don't know how many times I have to say this, but you don't understand the magnitude of what you say. Hopefully it will be the last time, but you're bound to bring up another foolish point no doubt.

colonels. here's where stuff always gets mixed up. you are arguing one thing, z the other...

no the tools used in recruiting dont change. (except for boosters). BUT the strategy is COMPLETELY different at all three levels. 100% night/day difference from DII to DI.

heck, there's a huge difference from entry level DI to upper echelon DI.

yes, you are right. at DIII you send out letters. at DIII you do evals. at DIIII you do HVs and CVs. and YES you do all those things at DI as well. BUT ITS STILL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
What I've always taken exception with here is that he said I don't understand recruiting at all and that I'm a virtual know-nothing about recruiting just because I haven't recruited at D1, despite having relative success (filling my scholarships) at D2.



just filling scholarships does NOT make you a success. even a relative one. In fact, I would argue that almost all of the time it is better to take a walk on than some scrub who is going waste roster space for 4 years.
