Cincy takes Roger Nelson, Kansas City
He was always on my "possibly" list, but his HR #'s scare me since I'm going with a + HR park. Of course, with such a low WHIP, solo shots won't kill you...
I'll be playing in GAB and that didn't stop me from taking him. Even with his HR rates I didn't like anyone else more than him.
btw. good luck with Nelson. I've used him 3 times with disastrous results. Never again! Just say no. Speaking of just say no, still waiting on a credible explanation from Vegas on his momentary lapse of sanity. hellooooooooo............
Here's the deal. We won last leg (for the first time in our involvement with Rule V -- thank you, sweet, blessed Karma). So, to praise Karma for her generosity, we decided to ensure that HWMNBN won't see the light of day this leg. He'll be on our roster, but he won't get a single at bat or put on a glove. It cost us a pick but we're happy to give it up to stay in Karma's good graces.
