Yeah, it wasn't a perfect analogy by any means padna, but it was the best I could come up with on the spur of the moment. I suppose I could have extended it to create a country where it had become increasingly difficult to buy a gun, but I was focused more on the behavior of the 'anti-issue' crowd than the 'pro-issue' crowd.

Abortion is an important issue to Republcans. It is clearly also an important issue to Democrats.

I doubt Stewart would comment much, until some politician said something stupid about it in which case he'd be making fun of that, not the underlying issue.

Maybe that was a little exaggerated.

The fact is that I present clear points about a variety of interests.

In this Forum I have become the epic Conservative. Doug and Jclark are actually the hardcore Conservatives, but I have taken that position because the bulk of the posters are so far to the left of the Average American that it is almost laughable.

In normal forums I am a calming moderate. In here I am forced into the role of Conservative Patriarch.

If you're going to be "epic" anything, you're gonna have to do better.  Unless you're chasing "epic" dumbass.

It isnt actually true.

You defined who I was, but that doenst put me on a scale with everyone else.

I am the this Posts Palin. Nothing I say is actually crazy, just not in line with the accepted political allignment of the Room.

My views, with all their extremes, are more mainstream than Anton. Far more mainstream.

So if I am bashed because I stray from the accepted viewpoint, why does Rush, Coulter and Palin get bashed...what is the accpeted "Room" they are straying from?
