HBD/WIS Shutdown for Maintenence Topic

If were going to be able to hire and fire coaches mid season there going to half to make a lot more good coaches, at the end of the coach hiring process the best coaches usually have about a 50 in there "main" rating. Theres no point in firing your underachieving 85 hitting coach to sign a 50 hitting coach.

personally i think this sucks. why not make these upgrades as a world is rolling over instead of shutting down the site for 2 days. am i being refunded the 2 days that i can't access my teams?

why wasn't this scheduled for Wrigleyfest weekend?

It would be like the old days when TK shut down sims for a day because he was in Chicago and couldn't fix things

Will this hardware improvement improve sim times for the newer worlds to allow them to take place earlier?

The entire site is going to shut down, this affects all the sports, not the HBD only as I read this. To the guy who had a gripe about the update coming after his world ended the season, there are over 100 worlds, many of them would be interrupted no matter when this update takes place. Just think of it as WIS stopping time for a bit, then restarting the clock. You won't be losing any teams or settings or other things like that.

BE QUIET. Go start a world as commish, then abandon your team (Honolulu) and the whole world (Continental Leag (dumb name BTW)). Oh yeah, you already did. And tried to do it again until I mentioned it in the forum. Then you stopped trying.

ABANDONER !

Good point except that I know that in my world there are coaches that are better than some of mine that I hired up from lower levels. They are ones that demanded more money than teams were willing to pay. They languish there while I still have money in my coaches payroll to cut some dead weight and re-up with someone better. I have just enough that I could throw at a coach but just too little to transfer to my prospect budget. Sucks.....

Someone should compile a list of the idiots who have posted on this forum to complain about this type of an upgrade. If you don't understand the difference between hardware and software, please, go do something else.
